Job summary

Anchor Construction Corporation is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead estimating efforts for heavy civil construction projects in the DMV region, including water, sewer, storm drain, conduit, and underground utility work.

You will develop accurate bids, perform detailed quantity takeoffs, and mentor the estimating team. Proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid and MS Office is required; 8+ years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction.
• Strong experience with water, sewer, storm drain, conduit, and utility projects.
• Proficient in HCSS HeavyBid and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, and bid documents.
• Analyze labor, equipment, materials, and production costs.
• Solicit and negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000

Position Summary

Anchor Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead estimating efforts for heavy civil construction projects throughout the DMV region. This role focuses on water, sewer, storm drain, conduit, and underground utility projects and is responsible for developing accurate, competitive bids while supporting successful project execution.
