Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Estimator for our construction operations in the United States. The role focuses on managing the bid process, preparing bid packages, handling RFIs, and delivering accurate cost estimates.

A minimum of 5 years of construction experience and a track record in project management are required. The Senior Estimator will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to ensure bids and projects meet deadlines and budget expectations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver bid packages, including all necessary documentation and information.
• Handle RFIs (Requests for Information) in a timely and professional manner, ensuring all queries are answered accurately and completely.
• Provide accurate cost estimation for all projects, taking into account materials, labor, equipment, and any other relevant factors.
• Oversee project management, ensuring all projects are completed to the highest standard, on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with other team members, including project managers, engineers, and construction workers, to ensure all projects run smoothly.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and changes, and update estimation methods and strategies accordingly.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Senior Estimator, your main duties will include:

1. Managing the entire bid process from start to finish, ensuring all stages are completed accurately and on time.
2. Preparing and delivering bid packages, including all necessary documentation and information.

6. Collaborating with other team members, including project managers, engineers, and construction workers, to ensure all projects run smoothly.
7. Continuously monitoring industry trends and changes, and updating estimation methods and strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

6. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
7. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
