Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Senior Estimator to join our construction team. This permanent role focuses on estimating for design-build projects, cost analysis, and project management, with a salary range of $120,000-$145,000 per year.

You will review drawings, prepare detailed estimates using BlueBeam, submit RFQs, and work with project managers to keep projects on time and within budget. A 5+ year background and a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimation, preferably in a senior role.
• Proficiency in BlueBeam or equivalent software.
• Experience with base building construction projects.
• Ability to interpret two-dimensional drawings.
• Experience in preparing RFQs, tracking bids, and working with project managers.
• Strong negotiation skills and proven cost estimation track record.
• Knowledge of building construction costs including materials, labor and equipment.
• Experience developing written proposals and presenting to clients.

• 5. Experience in preparing RFQs, tracking bids, and working with project managers.
• 6. Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of successful cost estimation.
• 7. In-depth knowledge of building construction, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• 8. Experience in developing written proposals and presenting them to clients and stakeholders.
• 9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• 10. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• 11. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
