Job summary

Construction Manufacturer in High Point, NC is seeking a Senior Estimator to develop accurate estimates for commercial and industrial mechanical projects, including piping, plumbing, and sheet metal. You will use estimating software to prepare detailed cost analyses for labor, materials, and equipment.

You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers to validate pricing, and you will mentor junior estimators while identifying opportunities for cost efficiency across departments.

Qualifications

• 10 years minimum experience in Commercial Mechanical Construction.
• Understanding of mechanical manufacturing, electrical systems, and plumbing/piping required.
• Experience with software such as Revit, Bluebeam, Trimble is a plus.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
• Use of excel and ability to read and interpret mechanical and plumbing construction blueprints.

This role will utilize estimating software to develop detailed project estimates and cost analyses for labor, materials, and equipment while working closely with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers to secure and validate pricing. The Senior Estimator will also serve as an estimating resource across departments, identify opportunities for cost efficiency, and provide guidance and mentorship to other estimators on the team.
