Job summary

Teksky LLC, a Denver-based general contractor, seeks an experienced Estimator to join the preconstruction team. The role develops accurate estimates, coordinates bids, and supports project turnover across commercial and industrial projects.

You will work with preconstruction, design, and construction teams to evaluate subcontractor proposals and prepare detailed cost estimates. Hybrid work environment in Denver area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of building construction, materials, trade practices, and market conditions.
• Experience with Excel, Bluebeam, Procore, Building Connected, On-Screen Takeoff, and MS Project is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Coordinate bids and maintain project documentation.
• Identify and solicit qualified subcontractors and suppliers using project bidding services.
• Review and understand project plans, specifications, and bidding documents.
• Prepare and distribute RFIs to the design team as needed.
• Review subcontractor and supplier proposals for completeness and compliance with project requirements.
• Assist with project risk analysis and workload due diligence.
• Perform detailed material quantity take-offs.
• Assist with RFP and RFQ responses.
• Support operations during project turnover by reviewing strategy and proposals.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our preconstruction team. The company is a Denver-based general contractor specializing in the design-build delivery of commercial and industrial construction projects.

This position will work closely with preconstruction, design, and construction teams to develop accurate estimates, coordinate bids, evaluate subcontractor proposals, and support successful project turnover.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Excel, Bluebeam, Procore, Building Connected, On-Screen Takeoff, and Microsoft Project is a plus.
