Job summary

Lithko Contracting seeks a Healthcare Senior Estimator to join our Southeast region. You will lead or closely assist in estimating, take-offs, pricing, and bidding for healthcare projects, ensuring competitive and accurate bids across the Southeast.

This highly visible role collaborates with area executives and operational leadership to win work and drive successful execution of complex healthcare facilities, including scope development, risk assessment, and schedule alignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural concrete estimating for large-scale self-perform General Contractors or concrete contractors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with a variety of project types, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects valued over $1 million.
• Solid understanding of construction principles, as well as experience with both negotiated and hard bid processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Estimate Setup: Establish estimates with alternates, general conditions, vendor and subcontractor pricing, labor production, and wage rates per bid strategy.
• Conceptual Estimating: Develop conceptual estimates from limited information with accurate alternates, general conditions, and pricing.
• Detailed Take-Offs: Perform detailed take-offs by identifying and quantifying all concrete scope items.
• Proposal Preparation: Create comprehensive customer proposals with precise scope, terms, conditions, and bid pricing breakdown.
• Project Information Management: Deliver accurate project information to the team during turnover and planning phases.
• Team Support: Guide estimators and project coordinators in task assignments, use of processes, and tools, ensuring estimate accuracy.
• Operations Coordination: Ensure operations team receives correct and detailed information for project execution.

Senior Estimator - Healthcare

Lithko Contracting is seeking a Healthcare Senior Estimator to join our Southeast region! This role will lead or strongly assist in the business development efforts in the Healthcare sector for the southeastern United States. This position will support and own all aspects of estimating, take-offs, pricing, and bidding for the Healthcare vertical. This is a highly visible and pivotal role that will work hand-in-glove with area executives and operational leadership for the successful acquisition and execution of projects.
