Job summary

Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead the estimating process from start to finish for heavy civil construction projects. You will work with multiple departments to ensure estimates and bid proposals are accurate, competitive, and on time.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction estimating, a related degree, and proficiency with HeavyBid, inEight, or Bid2Win. The role emphasizes collaboration with clients, subs, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, with experience in a construction setting preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.
• Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as HeavyBid, inEight, or Bid2Win.
