Job summary

WDF Inc., Mt Vernon, NY, seeks a Senior Estimator to lead complex building bids and oversee estimating activities for large-scale projects. You will review drawings and specifications, develop bid inputs, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure complete, accurate estimates.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in estimating and 10+ years on building projects over $100M, with proficiency in HCSS Heavy Bid, Blue Beam, and Excel, enabling precise, timely proposals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar.
• 5+ years of relevant estimating and project management experience.
• 10+ years estimating for building projects; projects over $100M.

Responsibilities

• Review and incorporate historical data into unit and manhour figures.
• Provide and coordinate full estimating services on large, complex work.
• Review specifications and drawings to determine scope and contents of estimate.
• Provide complete conceptual and final estimating input on complex projects.
• Support personnel preparing discipline estimates and maintain backup data.
• Assist contracting during inquiries and bid evaluations; track awarded contracts.
