Job summary

WDF Inc., Mount Vernon, NY, seeks an experienced Project Manager for Job Order Contracting to lead multi-project programs in a dynamic environment. You will oversee budgets, procurement, and on-site progress to ensure profitability and timely delivery.

The role requires a Civil/Construction degree and 5+ years PM experience with JOC, plus strong knowledge of cost, scheduling, and estimating processes. Strong leadership and client coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of building construction experience.
• 5+ years Project Management experience managing multiple construction projects.
• Experience/knowledge with Job Order Contracting (JOC), unit pricing, requirement pricing required.
• Understanding of cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor, and control project budget, costs, and projections to ensure overall project profitability and accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure procurement of required materials and requisition of necessary equipment and labor resources to efficiently complete construction projects.
• Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors; market and secure additional work with client; responsible for the project change management process.
• Monitor/control construction process through direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client and A/E contacts, to facilitate construction activities; represent company in project meetings.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company's interest and maintain good relationship with Client.
