Job summary

Osaic is seeking an experienced Senior Estate Planning Strategist for its High Net Worth Planning Services team. This role focuses on advanced estate planning strategies, trust design, wealth transfer planning, and keeping abreast of legislative changes affecting high-net-worth clients.

You will work with a team of professionals and collaborate with financial advisors to implement sophisticated, practical planning solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience practicing law with a primary focus on trusts and estates.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and interpreting estate planning documents.
• Deep understanding of federal estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax concepts.
• Strong ability to communicate complex estate planning concepts to non-attorney audiences.
• Experience developing educational content and presenting to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted estate planning resource for financial advisors supporting high-net-worth clients.
• Review, analyze, and summarize complex estate planning documents and related instruments.
• Identify opportunities, risks, inconsistencies, and gaps within clients' estate plans.
• Collaborate with internal planning specialists and business partners to support complex client situations.
• Educate financial advisors on estate planning concepts, strategies, and trends through training and resources.
• Monitor and analyze legislative, regulatory, and tax law developments affecting estate planning.
• Produce timely briefs, articles, and internal guidance for the team and advisors.
• Represent Osaic as an estate planning expert at conferences, webinars, and events.
• Contribute to the development of estate planning resources, tools, and best practices.
