Qualifications

• The candidate will have at least six years of applicable experience.
• Must hold an LL.M. in Taxation and be licensed to practice in Washington.
• Experience in estate planning and probate/trust administration is required.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review estate planning documents such as wills and trusts.
• Handle probate administration and communicate with heirs and agencies.
• Advise clients on tax implications of estate planning.
• Explain estate tax considerations and planning techniques to minimize tax exposure.
• Prepare and review federal gift and estate tax returns.
• Draft sophisticated trust instruments (GRATs, SLATs, QPRTs, CLATs/CLUTs).
• Research and analyze complex legal issues and communicate with clients.
