TEKsystems is hiring for a senior ERP analyst role in Colorado Springs to support the migration from JD Edwards to Oracle Fusion. You will work with business stakeholders, ERP team members, and the implementation partner to support finance operations and ERP integrations.

Desired background includes ERP/migration experience and familiarity with Oracle Fusion financial modules. This is a hybrid role with potential for long-term leadership within a senior team.

Description

El Paso County is embarking on one of its most significant technology modernization initiatives: the migration from JD Edwards (JDE) to Oracle Fusion. The ERP implementation officially kicked off in October 2026 and is targeted to go live in January 2028. This role offers a unique opportunity to join the project at the beginning of the implementation journey and help shape the future ERP environment for the County. The selected candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, ERP team members, project managers, and the County's implementation partner while supporting finance operations across the organization.

While Oracle Fusion experience is preferred, candidates with strong finance and ERP backgrounds from other platforms (SAP, Workday, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Oracle EBS, etc.) are encouraged to apply.

The ERP team is a small, highly experienced, and collaborative group that has worked together for many years. The team currently consists of a ERP Supervisor, three ERP Analysts (supporting Finance, HCM, and Supply Chain/Integrations), a Product Manager who works alongside the team, and an ITSM consultant who may become more involved in ERP integrations. This is a very senior-level team with minimal day-to-day oversight because everyone understands their responsibilities and works independently. The group has successfully partnered on multiple major projects and implementations, creating a strong team dynamic. This an excellent opportunity for someone to learn from experienced ERP professionals, contribute to a countywide modernization effort, and potentially grow into a long-term leadership role within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Implementation & Support

• Support the County's migration from JD Edwards to Oracle Fusion.
• Participate in ERP implementation activities from planning through go-live.
• Work alongside the implementation partner to support configuration, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
• Learn and support Oracle Fusion financial modules and related functionality.

Business Analysis

• Gather and analyze business requirements.
• Document current and future-state processes.
• Recommend ERP solutions that align with business needs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.

Finance Systems Support

• Support finance-related ERP functions including: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL)
• Procurement
• Financial reporting
• Troubleshoot user issues and investigate transaction discrepancies.
• Assist departments with understanding and resolving financial system challenges.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Participate in system testing activities.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation.
• Support integration testing between Oracle Fusion and third-party systems.
• Validate system enhancements, upgrades, and patches.

User Support & Training

• Serve as a trusted advisor to business users.
• Create user documentation, job aids, and training materials.
• Assist users with adoption of new ERP functionality.
• Support change management efforts associated with the Oracle Fusion rollout.

Vendor & Project Collaboration

• Work closely with project managers, implementation consultants, and technical teams.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors when necessary.
• Participate in project meetings and status discussions.
• Help ensure implementation deliverables align with business requirements.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $64.00 - $66.00/hr.
