Job summary

T. Rowe Price, a premier global asset management firm, seeks a senior professional to lead equity risk oversight within the Global Investment Risk function. You will analyze portfolio risks, work with PMs and leaders, and develop analytics and risk reporting capabilities.

You will apply advanced quantitative methods, use Python/R, and collaborate with tech partners to enhance risk systems. Baltimore HQ with hybrid work structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent with extensive relevant experience.
• Experience in asset management with equity risk focus.
• Strong knowledge of buy-side risk management and global markets.
• Experience with quantitative risk methods: VaR, volatility, tracking error.
• Programming skills to process data and create visualizations.
• Familiarity with risk modelling and attribution systems (BarraOne, RiskManager).
• Clear communication of complex topics to leadership and clients.

Responsibilities

• Own ongoing risk oversight of assigned equity strategies.
• Understand PM investment processes and sources of risk.
• Identify material exposures and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Analyze volatility, tracking error, VaR and changes in risk profiles.
• Design/stress test portfolios and tail-risk analyses.
• Develop risk reports, dashboards, and analytical tools.
• Use Python/R to process data and create visualizations.
• Collaborate with technology to improve risk systems.
• Present findings to investment leaders and clients.
• Develop methodologies to support risk-informed decisions.
