Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in investment banking or related control functions such as Market Risk, Valuation Control, or Quantitative Analytics
• Strong knowledge of market risk metrics (VaR, FRTB, stress testing)
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field
• Strong Python and data handling with large datasets; familiarity with Power BI, SQL and Excel is an advantage
• Comfort collaborating across teams and presenting risk insights to stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze Americas equity risk exposures daily to identify, assess, and manage market risk
• Provide clear, timely risk insights and recommendations to stakeholders
• Conduct portfolio analysis, evaluate risk, and approve transactions within delegated authority and policies
• Partner with the business as a second line of defense to independently identify, challenge, and elevate issues
• Help strengthen the risk control framework and contribute to initiatives supporting product innovation and regulatory change
• Evaluate limit frameworks and related controls to ensure they remain effective
• Promote a culture of openness, transparency, and accountability
