Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Jersey City invites a software engineer to join the Equity Derivative Group. You will contribute to building, transforming, and supporting our global equity derivatives sales and marketing platforms using modern technologies in an Agile environment.

You'll collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product teams to implement business requirements, apply design patterns, and deliver robust software across the full lifecycle for financial systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java/JVM and the Java/JVM ecosystem.
• Good understanding of software design patterns and clean code practices.
• Experience working on financial systems.
• Experience partnering with product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with engineers, business analysts, project managers, and sales and marketers to develop software solutions for our Equity Derivatives platform.
• Works within a team of software engineers analyzing and implementing business requirements within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Works closely with production management applying technical knowledge to support business processes, changes, and end users.
