Job summary

Bank of America’s Equity Plan Services unit seeks a Senior Product Manager to lead domain efforts for equity‑based accounting and reporting. You will translate ASC 718 and related standards into scalable product features while partnering with engineering, QA, and client teams to drive client value.

You will manage product requirements, backlogs, and client‑facing reports, contributing to go‑to‑market strategies and detailed solution design for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in product management, preferably within financial services or enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with equity compensation accounting systems or related financial reporting platforms.
• Demonstrated experience delivering product features end-to-end in partnership with engineering teams.
• Experience working directly with clients and supporting product-driven business growth.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert on ASC 718 and related accounting standards, translating regulatory requirements into scalable product functionality.
• Understand system calculations and dependencies related to equity-based accounting, including expense, tax, EPS dilution, disclosures, and proxies.
• Identify opportunities to enhance product capabilities and differentiate in the market.
• Partner with stakeholders to evaluate regulatory changes and update the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, operations, and client service to ensure product success.
• Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned to outcomes.
• Lead backlog prioritization and ensure delivery of high-impact capabilities.
• Own client-facing reports and user guides; support onboarding and solution design.
