Job summary

Unity is seeking a Staff Compensation Analyst to own the broad-based equity program and drive the monthly grant cycle from end to end. You will forecast base, bonus, and equity expenses, partner with FP&A to align budgets, and design scalable models that adapt to headcount, geography, and stock price changes.

The role combines equity design with compensation planning, requiring strong collaboration with Finance, Legal, Recruiting, and HR Business Partners.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in compensation with deep equity program experience.
• Experience designing, modeling, and forecasting equity and compensation.
• Strong collaboration with Finance and HR partners.
• Ability to translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Comfort with ambiguity and building scalable processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the broad-based equity program architecture end to end, including grant guidelines and refresh logic.
• Build models for retention, dilution, grant sizing, and allocation shifts under uncertainty.
• Define and manage the exception framework and regulatory exposure.
• Own compensation expense planning across base, bonus, and equity with in-cycle forecasts.
• Serve as the primary interface to Finance and lead budget negotiations with leadership.
• Execute monthly equity grant cycles and ensure timely, compliant deliveries.
• Lead change management for new programs and communicate policies clearly.
• Develop repeatable processes, tools, and documentation for the team.
