Qualifications

• 5–15+ years of buy-side investing experience
• Deep expertise covering refiners and downstream energy
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and investment research capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to generate actionable investment ideas
• Experience operating within a rigorous, fundamentals-driven investment environment
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees and/or CFA preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform bottom-up fundamental analysis on refiners and related downstream energy businesses
• Build and maintain detailed financial and valuation models
• Conduct industry research, channel checks, and management meetings
• Develop differentiated investment theses and communicate recommendations directly to decision-makers
• Monitor portfolio holdings and identify new investment opportunities within the sector
• Collaborate closely with the broader investment team on portfolio construction and risk management
