Job summary

Bio-Techne is seeking a Senior Equipment Technician to install and perform PMs on capital equipment, including complex repairs and calibrations. The role includes training other technicians, assisting in strategic planning, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Onsite work during standard hours with potential for extended hours and on-call rotations. Strong knowledge of metrology, BAS, and cross-functional collaboration is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 5-8 years of relevant experience; or an associate’s degree preferred and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Class 2B MN Boilers License or Special Engineer is preferred, prior experience with boilers/steam systems is required.
• Prior experience operating material handling equipment is required.
• Prior experience in clean rooms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and inspect capital and manufacturing equipment.
• Perform calibrations on complex equipment and apply metrology practices.
• Coordinate maintenance with operations and vendor activities.
• Lead equipment procurement discussions and project initiatives.
• Train and mentor Equipment Technicians and Advanced Equipment Technicians.
