Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and complex repairs on a diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, general construction tools, large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC and related equipment.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years of technician experience with diesel/heavy equipment; advanced hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
5+ years of Technician experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills.
Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics and make complex repairs on equipment.
Work with a fleet that includes aerial work platforms and general construction tools; may be assigned large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or oil & gas equipment.
Be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
