Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on a diverse equipment fleet. The role involves working with aerial platforms, pumps, HVAC and power generation gear in a safety‑conscious environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment, and strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 5+ years of Technician experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics, and execute complex repairs to minimize downtime.
• Work with a fleet that includes Aerial Work Platforms, pumps, HVAC and generators.
• Ensure safe, efficient operation in both indoor and outdoor settings.
