Job summary

Bio-Techne Corp. in Saint Paul, MN seeks a Senior Equipment Technician to install, calibrate, and PM capital equipment, including complex systems in clean rooms. You will train and mentor technicians, coordinate vendor activity, and contribute to SOP creation and process improvements.

The role requires hands-on expertise in metrology, HVAC, electrical work, and multi-trade maintenance, with flexibility for extended hours and on-call rotation. Onsite work with potential off-site travel.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 5-8 years of relevant experience; or an associate’s degree preferred and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Class 2B MN Boilers License or Special Engineer is preferred, prior experience with boilers/steam systems is required.
• Prior experience operating material handling equipment is required.
• Prior experience in clean rooms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and inspect capital and manufacturing equipment.
• Perform calibrations on high-level complex equipment using metrology practices.
• Coordinate maintenance/repairs with external vendors and internal teams.
• Assist in project planning around operations manufacturing schedules and SOPs.
• Train and mentor Equipment Technicians and Advanced Equipment Technicians.
