Job summary

Trinity Industries, Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a Senior Equipment Technician (2nd shift) to perform a variety of maintenance tasks across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on production equipment.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of related experience, can read drawings and schematics, climb ladders and work in confined spaces, and follows safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2–4 years of related experience; hydraulics or furnace specialty experience a plus.
• Ability to read equipment drawings, and electrical & hydraulics schematics.
• May involve working above ground (heights) and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex repairs on production equipment motors and mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems up to 480V and conduct preventative maintenance.
• Repair and maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production equipment.
• Install and repair electrical systems and components of industrial machinery.
