Job summary

Trinity Heads, Inc. in Navasota, Texas seeks an Expert Equipment Technician on 2nd shift to perform electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance on production equipment. You will troubleshoot PLCs, read schematics, and repair complex control systems to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, keeping CMMS records, and mentoring junior technicians while adhering to safety rules. Requires 5+ years related experience and comfort with heights.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years of related experience; industrial controls, hydraulics and furnace experience a plus.
• Ability to read equipment drawings and schematics for electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• May require working at height (15 ft. or more).
• Must climb ladders or stairs to reach objects and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex repairs on production equipment motors and mechanical components including pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems up to 480 volts.
• Troubleshoot PLCs (Siemens and Allen-Bradley).
• Repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and mechanical components.
• Read blueprints, schematics and technical manuals with electrical/hydraulic knowledge.
• Maintain records in CMMS program (EAM).
• Follow safety rules; participate in safety initiatives.
• May train and mentor other technicians.
