Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Equipment Safety Engineer to lead safety efforts for automated manufacturing equipment at scale. You will drive design, commissioning, and validation of safety systems across multiple production lines, and ensure compliance with relevant safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 4+ years of machine safety experience, and certifications such as CMSE or equivalent. U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Robotics/Controls, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
4+ years machine safety experience in a production environment.
Certifications: CMSE or Functional Safety Engineer / Engineer (TUV)
U.S. Person due to export control requirements for access to information or facilities

Responsibilities

Lead safety for manufacturing equipment across multiple production lines.
Design, commission, and validate automated production equipment safety systems.
Perform hazard analyses and risk assessments; obtain safety buyoff.
Architect and implement safety hardware such as E-Stops, scanners, light curtains, interlocks.
Investigate safety failures or injuries and implement corrective actions.
Ensure regulatory compliance for production equipment.
