Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Equipment Safety Engineer to guide safety across automated manufacturing lines. You will lead hazard analyses, select and validate safety hardware, and ensure compliance for robotics and conveyance systems in a national-scale production environment.

Lead design, commissioning and validation of safety systems, including E-Stops and light curtains, while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards and export control requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in robotics/controls, mechanical, electrical or manufacturing engineering.
• 4+ years machine safety experience in production.
• Must have functional safety certifications (TÜV Rheinland/TÜV SÜD/CMSE).
• Deep knowledge of safety hardware selection, integration and validation.
• U.S. person due to access to export-controlled information.

Responsabilités

• Lead machine safety efforts across multiple production lines.
• Serve as safety expert during design, commissioning, and validation of automated equipment.
• Perform hazard analysis and risk assessments; obtain safety buyoffs.
• Architect safety systems: E-Stops, scanners, light curtains, door interlocks.
• Investigate safety failures or injuries and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for production equipment.
