Job summary

CNA Insurance seeks a seasoned risk control professional to lead evaluation, consulting and technical support on complex accounts. You will be recognized as a technical expert in a product line, guiding underwriting decisions with your risk insights.

The role requires developing tailored risk control strategies, delivering education and presentations, building internal and external partnerships, and supporting growth through proactive risk management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5–8 years risk control experience.
Strong communication and presentation skills are required.
Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

Performs workplace/work site risk evaluation and consultative risk improvement services which may include large and/or special accounts of some complexity.
Provides risk assessment information on complex accounts to support underwriting for prospective, new and renewal accounts; submits Risk Control recommendations or solutions to minimize exposures.
Assesses customer risk control program needs and develops and executes a customized strategy and implementation plan.
Makes recommendations on risk control policy, marketing and business strategy to support local branch and enterprise growth.
Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external business partners; conducts education, training, and presentations.
Provides expertise in one or more specialty area to internal and external customers; identifies opportunities for new products/services.
May conduct agency/broker visits to discuss accounts and CNA’s products to support territorial needs.
May be responsible for special projects.
