Job summary

Remedial Construction Services, L.P. is seeking a senior Heavy Equipment Operator III in the United States to operate multiple types of construction equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires reading survey stakes, following load charts, and maintaining equipment while complying with site policies. Five or more years of operating experience, HS diploma or equivalent, and certifications such as MSHA and TWIC are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations for excavation methods and practices.
• Ability to read survey stakes for alignment and grading.
• Read and interpret load charts for heavy equipment and attachments.
• Pass skills test prior to operating equipment.
• Must reliably show up on time five to seven days a week.
• Must have access to reliable transportation to job site.

Responsibilities

• Observe and comply with safety and site policies.
• Perform daily pre-inspection and maintenance checks on equipment.
• Operate heavy equipment (excavators, bulldozers, graders) safely to excavate, move and grade.
• Erect structures and perform finish grading according to site specs.
• Communicate with team using signals or radio.
• Work independently with limited supervision.
• Report equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Follow directions from senior operators and superintendents.
