Job summary

Valtir LLC in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Senior Equipment Operator to join our manufacturing facility. The role involves setting up and operating production machines to cut, bend, straighten, or form parts per blueprints, lay-up sequences, and templates.

Starting pay is $20-$23 per hour, with full-time Monday–Friday, 5am–1:30pm. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of relevant experience, and the ability to read blueprints, operate multiple machines, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to operate three of the following equipment types: press break, shear, punch press, saw, drill press or roller.
• Ability to understand the technical aspects of the job.
• Ability to follow verbal or simple written instructions and procedures.
• Ability to measure accurately.
• Ability to safely and efficiently perform all essential functions.
• Ability to follow directions and maintain a professional work environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work within a teamwork environment.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Must be able to work in a manufacturing facility standing most of the day.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate most production machines to cut, bend, straighten, or form parts as specified by blueprints, layup sequence and/or templates.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting.
• Operate at least 3 pieces of equipment (shear, punch press, break press, saw, drill press, roller).
• Proficiently read blueprints.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
