Job summary

Swagelok in Solon, Ohio is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Level 4 professional on 3rd shift to diagnose, repair, and optimize a range of equipment across multiple disciplines. You will lead shift start-up meetings, promote reliability processes, and ensure safety practices are followed.

The role requires deep Rx understanding, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of applicable maintenance experience.
• Technical degree is equivalent to 2 years experience.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Ability to operate Swagelok internal Powered Industrial Equipment training.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and utilizes the proper hand tools.
• Follow safety practices and policies (fall protection, confined space, PPE, LO/TO, etc.).
• Utilizes basic shop math and lean toolbox concepts.
• Performs preventative maintenance per SOPs.
• Provides maintenance welding and soldering support.
• Uses fabrication and machining equipment to construct components.
• Leads shift start-up meetings and supports reliability processes.
• Diagnoses mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical problems.
• Reads equipment blueprints and schematics and suggests improvements.
• Proficiently uses Predictive Technologies and analysis tools.
