Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, or related field).
• 2-5 years of relevant engineering experience, often in equipment design, maintenance, or manufacturing.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, simulation software).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Equipment Engineers and Technicians in day-to-day wafer fab support per production priorities.
• Participate in equipment selection, configuration, installation, and performance monitoring for new purchases.
• Propose and manage budgets for repair expenses, spare parts and stocking levels; implement cost reduction measures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies in installations and maintenance.
• Collaborate with process engineers to optimize equipment settings for yield and quality.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment life and reduce failures.
• Provide training to production staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
