Noah Medical in San Jose, California, is seeking a Sr. Equipment Automation Engineer (Software) to join our growing medical robotics team.

You will design and deliver scalable software for automated manufacturing, integrating with PLCs, sensors, and motion control to improve product quality and process efficiency. You will collaborate across Manufacturing, Quality, Electrical, Mechanical, and Product Development to bring concepts through deployment while upholding regulatory requirements and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on manufacturing, automation, or industrial systems.
• Strong programming experience in C#, Python, Structured Text (IEC 61131-3 PLC Programming).
• Experience developing software for automated manufacturing equipment, production test systems, or industrial automation platforms.
• Experience integrating software with PLCs, motion control systems, sensors, vision systems, and industrial communication protocols.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented software design, software architecture, and software development best practices.
• Experience with SQL databases, data collection systems, and manufacturing analytics.
• Proficiency with source control systems such as Git and modern software development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing software applications and automation systems for robotic-enabled production lines.
