Job summary

Noah Medical, a leader in medical robotics, seeks a Sr. System Technician to assemble, test, and troubleshoot advanced robotic systems in a GMP environment. You will work with engineers to ensure compliance and reliability in a regulated setting.

Strong hands-on testing, hardware/software integration, and documentation are essential. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in medical device test work and relevant degrees, with English proficiency and familiarity with GMP processes.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or higher with 3–5 years medical device test experience.
  • AS Degree in Computer Science with 2+ years testing Medical Device experience.
  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering with 1 year of experience in medical device testing.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test medical robotic systems per MPI, drawings and schematics.
  • Install and configure hardware components (robotic arms, sensors, motors, PLCs, relays, boards, cables).
  • Install and configure software; test robotic movements and functions; troubleshoot with engineers.
  • Maintain GMP records and support line clearance as per lean manufacturing practices.

About The Team

We are seeking a skilled Sr. System Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting medical robotic systems while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of robotic hardware, experience with assembly and testing, excellent troubleshooting skills, and GMP experience.

  • Assemble and/or test medical robotic systems according to established MPI, drawings, and schematics.
  • Assemble and/or test medical subassemblies according to established MPI, drawings, and schematics.
  • Performpackagingmedical subassemblies andsystems accordingto established MPI, and drawings.
  • Install and configure hardware components, including robotic arms, sensors, motors, PLC’s, relays, circuitboardsand cables.
  • Install and configure software components, including programming andtesting ofrobotic movements and functions.
  • Perform system testing and work with engineers to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Train other team members asrequired.
  • Verify the accuracy of DHRs completed by team members
  • Collaborate with other team members toidentifyand resolve issues.
  • Assistwith inventory management and point out shortages as needed.
  • Maintainaccuraterecords of system configurations, test results, and troubleshooting activities as part of the Device History Records while adhering to GMP.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area as part of the line clearance procedure as lean manufacturing practices.
  • Meet all standard cycle time requirements and quality standards.
  • Perform other reasonable duties in assembly, rework, or test asrequired
About You
  • High School Diplomarequiredand a Minimum 3-5 years of medical device test work experiencerequired(or)
  • AS Degree in Computer Scienceand minimum2 years of testing Medical Device experience (or)
  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering with 1 year of experience medical device test work experience
  • English languageproficiencyrequired
  • Knowledge of working Microsoft office and other PC software
  • Knowledge of GMP, Non-Conformance reports, and Line clearance experiencerequired.
  • Work with the production manager and engineers toassistroot cause analysis for nonconformance.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment in compliance with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820required.
  • Experience performing technical training in electromechanical manufacturing
Pay Transparency

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Noah Medical offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors such as location as permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
