Job summary

You will analyze complex data, develop requirements, and recommend practical technical solutions to improve reliability and inform long-term investments.

The role involves collaboration with asset management, engineering, and other stakeholders, plus contributing to training materials and monitoring programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• FE certificate preferred; PE license advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess fleet health, performance, failure trends, replacement needs, and asset management plans.
• Analyze complex technical data; develop business requirements and practical technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain spare strategies, replacement recommendations, and risk-reduction actions.
• Evaluate equipment specs, industry announcements, and design standards to support standardization.
• Analyze substation breakers, line breakers, and reclosers with asset management teams.
• Support online asset monitoring programs, data requirements, and KPIs.
• Assist with training material for distribution OT teams; coordinate with SMEs.
