The London Lab investigates how early experience shapes neural development, with focus on epigenomic regulation, learning, and behavior, under the direction of the principal investigator.

Qualifications

  • PhD in neuroscience, molecular biology, or related disciplines.
  • Postdoctoral training in neuroscience, molecular biology, or related disciplines.
  • At least four years’ experience in molecular biology, genomics and/or epigenomics, and NGS methods.
  • Expertise in behavioral analysis, microscopy, genomics, anatomical methods, or physiology.
  • Expertise with non-rodent systems in neuroethologically-relevant research.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects that test neural mechanisms using behavior and molecular data.
  • Collect data and perform analysis; contribute scientific information to projects.
  • Review laboratory protocols and train on new techniques; manage complex data sets.
  • Lead scientific writing and publications, including reports, manuscripts and grants.
  • Train new laboratory personnel.
  • Maintain technical and administrative support for neuroscience projects.
