IQVIA's Sponsor-Dedicated FSP team seeks a Senior Epidemiologist to lead real-world evidence initiatives in oncology, with emphasis on ovarian cancer and lung cancer support. You will independently execute studies across Phases 1–3 and deliver regulatory-grade outputs in a pharmaceutical setting.

You'll work remotely from the West Coast, collaborating with a single sponsor, applying rigorous observational methods, study protocols, and clear scientific communication to advance patient outcomes.

Qualificações

• PhD in Epidemiology is required.
• Demonstrated experience applying epidemiology and real-world evidence to Phase 1-3 clinical development programs.
• Prior pharmaceutical industry experience is required.
• Knowledge of regulatory-grade real-world evidence expectations and rigorous observational research methods.
• Demonstrated oncology epidemiology experience, including ovarian cancer; lung cancer experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience conducting natural history, disease landscape, and study feasibility work using real-world data.
• Experience developing study protocols, clinical study reports, and related epidemiology deliverables.
• Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned studies, and execute with limited supervision.
• Strong scientific writing, analytical, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Independently plan and execute epidemiology and real-world evidence activities supporting early clinical development programs across Phases 1-3.
• Use real-world data and epidemiologic methods to describe the natural history of disease and characterize oncology disease landscapes.
• Conduct feasibility assessments to evaluate research questions, available data, study populations, endpoints, and potential study approaches.
• Develop and contribute to study protocols, analysis plans, study reports, clinical study reports, and other scientific deliverables.
• Support regulatory-grade real-world evidence studies, applying appropriate epidemiologic rigor and documentation standards.
• Provide hands-on epidemiology execution for ovarian cancer programs and contribute to lung cancer studies as assigned.
• Interpret study findings and communicate methods, assumptions, limitations, and results clearly to sponsor stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
• Manage assigned work proactively, resolve execution issues, and deliver high-quality outputs with minimal oversight.
• Work effectively within a sponsor-dedicated model, collaborating with sponsor teams across functions and time zones.
