Job summary

AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking an experienced Epic analyst to maintain clinical and business systems supporting patient care delivery. This role analyzes business problems and collaborates with clinicians to design, build, test, train, implement, and maintain Epic and related systems for optimal workflows.

You will coordinate with physicians and end users to document workflows and future processes, lead workflow improvements, and ensure upgrades align with Epic specifications.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Epic workflows.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Knowledge of clinical/technical workflow and EMR systems.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assesses workflow processes, identifies gaps, defines necessary changes, and designs future workflows.
• Designs, builds, and configures Epic modules and supporting apps; documents processes.
• Demonstrates advanced functional knowledge of Epic and MS products.
• Leads the team in developing electronic documentation to support clinical workflow.
• Develops requirements with stakeholders and documents them clearly.
• Creates test scripts and performs end-to-end testing; records outcomes.
