Job summary

SSM Health is seeking an Epic Application Analyst Senior to support Radiant with a primary focus on Breast Imaging workflows. The role leverages Epic expertise to optimize imaging operations, support end users, and deliver technology solutions that enhance patient care.

The incumbent acts as a subject matter expert in Epic applications, defining technical requirements and working with stakeholders to deliver results.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
Five years' experience with Epic functionality, design, configuration and technical environment concepts/functions.
Experience in Epic builds.
Epic certification or accreditation in one or more modules.

Responsibilities

Translates business needs into standard Epic workflow and build requirements.
Analyzes Epic vendor software updates and impact on business processes.
Codes complex functions including building application tables and reports for Epic.
May lead functional teams or projects with moderate scope and complexity.
Leads testing script development and updates to match business requirements.
Troubleshoots and resolves complex Epic issues with IT service center.
Maintains Epic applications using internal processes and policies.
Develops technical requirement specifications using data, diagrams, and flowcharts.
