Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a Senior Epic Application Analyst to join a large nonprofit health system, focusing on Epic ASAP/ClinDoc/Ambulatory support, optimization, and implementation work that improves Emergency Department workflows.

You will partner with clinical and operational leaders across the system, provide expert Epic guidance, mentor junior analysts, and contribute to upgrades and training. Remote options are available for qualified candidates in TX, GA, LA, OK, and TN.

Qualifications

  • Epic ASAP, ClinDoc, or Ambulatory Certification required.
  • 4+ years of Epic application experience within a healthcare environment.
  • Experience with Epic build, configuration, optimization, testing, implementation, and support.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic applications
  • Partner with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to improve workflows and system functionality
  • Lead application optimization and enhancement initiatives
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues
  • Support Epic upgrades, implementations, and ongoing system improvements
  • Serve as a technical resource and mentor to junior analysts
  • Participate in project planning, coordination, and execution
  • Provide end-user support and contribute to training efforts

Job description

Join one of the nation's largest nonprofit health systems as a Senior Epic Application Analyst supporting a large-scale Epic environment. Reporting to the Manager of Clinical Solutions, this role focuses on Epic application support, optimization, workflow enhancements, and implementation efforts that help drive efficient Emergency Department operations.


You'll partner with clinical and operational leaders to improve workflows, support ongoing system enhancements, and serve as a key technical resource for larger Epic initiatives across the health system.


Remote (TX, GA, LA, OK, TN)


Key Responsibilities


  • Analyze, design, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic applications

  • Partner with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to improve workflows and system functionality

  • Lead application optimization and enhancement initiatives

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues

  • Support Epic upgrades, implementations, and ongoing system improvements

  • Serve as a technical resource and mentor to junior analysts

  • Participate in project planning, coordination, and execution

  • Provide end-user support and contribute to training efforts


Qualifications


  • Epic ASAP, ClinDoc, or Ambulatory Certification required

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • Experience supporting hospital or health system operations preferred
