Job summary

America At Work seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager – Engineering & Capital Projects to lead EPC/EPCM capital projects up to $60M TIC. The role covers proposal through detailed design, procurement, construction support, and closeout in a heavy industrial setting.

You will manage scope, schedule, cost, and team coordination with clients, contractors, and internal groups, ensuring safety and compliance, and you may support nearby refinery sites on a hybrid schedule based in Ferndale, WA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of engineering and project experience.
• 4+ years in project management on complex heavy industrial projects.
• Experience with FEL, detailed engineering/design, procurement, and construction support.
• Strong client-facing communication and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial capital projects up to ~$60M TIC from proposal to closeout.
• Manage projects from proposal development through engineering, procurement, construction support, and closeout.
• Own project scope, schedule, cost, forecasting, change management, and execution.
• Develop engineering project proposals and execution strategies.
• Lead client, contractor, and internal project meetings.
• Manage project controls, resource planning, estimating, cost performance.
• Review project invoices and financial performance.
• Build relationships with clients, contractors, engineering teams, stakeholders.
• Identify value-engineering and continuous-improvement opportunities.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental, and client requirements.
• Support nearby refinery/client sites as required.
