Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions seeks experienced Project Managers with a proven track record leading EPC gas-fired power plant projects, spanning design through commissioning.

Candidates will coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, startup and client engagement to deliver safely, on schedule, and within budget across large-scale energy infrastructure.

Travel up to 50% nationwide; Birmingham, AL site support as required; strong leadership and safety culture requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven EPC project management experience on gas-fired or coal-fired power facilities.
• Direct experience with combined-cycle, simple-cycle, or thermal power plant construction.
• Strong knowledge of EPC execution, construction sequencing, and commissioning coordination.
• Experience with project controls, cost forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary teams on large-scale industrial or utility infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of EPC project execution for large-scale gas-fired power facilities.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and execution strategy.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Interface with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and leadership teams.
• Oversee financial performance including forecasting and cost controls.
• Drive planning, execution, and risk mitigation for project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with standards, client specs, contracts, and safety.
• Support staffing coordination, resource planning, and scheduling.
• Promote safety, accountability, operations excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Support construction, startup coordination, and commissioning activities.
• Provide leadership to multidisciplinary project teams.
