Job summary

Fermi America seeks a Senior EPC Cost Manager to bridge project cost execution with corporate finance. You will reconcile commitments, accruals, actuals, and EAC forecasts with the general ledger and reporting, ensuring alignment with budgets and controls.

You will standardize cost coding, map WBS/CBS to COA across Oracle Unifier and Oracle Fusion, consolidate multi-project data for executives, and support month-end close with accurate accruals and cost transfers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 7+ years of cost experience spanning corporate and project-based roles.
• Strong command of project cost controls and corporate financial processes.
• Experience reconciling project-controls data with corporate systems (Oracle Unifier/Fusion).
• Advanced Excel and data analysis across large cost datasets.
• Excellent communication bridging execution and corporate stakeholders.
• Experience on EPC or large capital projects in relevant sectors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as interface between project cost teams and corporate cost/finance, translating data into reporting.
• Reconcile project cost data with the general ledger and financial statements; investigate variances.
• Align project cost forecasts and cash flow with budgeting and planning cycles.
• Establish and maintain consistent cost coding and mapping across systems.
• Consolidate multi-project cost data into portfolio-level reporting for executives.
• Support month-end close through accurate accruals, cost transfers, and capitalization.
• Drive governance and controls improvements for cost information accuracy.
• Partner with project controls, accounting, procurement, and treasury to maintain a single source of truth.
• Provide leadership with analysis and recommendations on cost performance and trends.
