Job summary

KBR is seeking an experienced EO/IR Engineer SME to support the acquisition of F-22 systems at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The role focuses on integrating EO/IR capabilities, driving MBSE, and ensuring technical excellence across all phases of the program.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applied science, active TS clearance, and extensive EO/IR systems knowledge. On-site work with moderate travel is expected, with collaboration across a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Expertise in EO/IR systems.
• Advanced knowledge of EO/IR standards, procedures, and practices.
• Experience overseeing junior staff and coordinating DoD acquisition activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Systems Engineering Integration for ACAT I programs and mission-critical systems.
• Collaborate on Requirements Verification and develop the Verification Matrix for new releases.
• Provide insights at milestone reviews with in-depth analysis and recommendations.
• Analyze engineering data, lab results, and flight test data to validate release requirements.
