Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; A.S. in Metrology or related STEM field preferred.
• 5+ years in environmental testing or similar role.
• Experience with environmental test equipment and procedures.
• Ability to interpret test results and maintain records.
• Hands-on testing in dynamic and thermal environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for running test equipment in Environmental Test Lab.
• Operate thermal chambers, vibration tables, shock tables, and TVAC chambers.
• Train new hires on lab equipment usage and safety procedures.
• Set up and teardown test equipment for each test.
• Document all work for QA inspection readiness.
• Read procedures, schematics, and drawings accurately.
• Provide feedback to Engineering on quality and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with FOD, tool control, 5-S, and safety rules.
• Monitor progress and help meet on-time delivery goals.
• Collaborate with test engineers to troubleshoot failures from data.
