Job summary

Kleinfelder's Southern California team seeks a Senior Technical Lead to provide environmental assessment and investigation support for major regional contracts. The role requires extensive site characterization and remediation background, based in downtown Los Angeles.

Responsibilities include leading technical execution, overseeing QA/QC, and mentoring staff, with client interaction and business development responsibilities as a leadership role model.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of environmental consulting in California with regulatory knowledge; 15+ years preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience on multi-disciplinary environmental projects.
• BS (MS preferred) in environmental engineering, geology, or related field is required.
• Professional licensure (PE or PG) or ability to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental site assessments, soil, soil gas, and groundwater assessments, feasibility studies, remedial action plans, remediation system design/operation.
• Perform advanced technical writing and detailed review of data/reports.
• Lead large programs and manage project teams with scope, schedule, and budget compliance.
