Job summary

IAPMO Group is seeking a Senior Environmental Specialist for our Lafayette, LA site. The role focuses on air permitting and air compliance within a manufacturing environment, with an emphasis on reducing emissions and regulatory adherence.

You will report to the Site Manager and guide a junior environmental specialist. Key responsibilities include managing air permits, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local rules, and supporting water and waste programs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Louisiana Regulations and Title V (Part 70) required.
• Experience managing air permitting and air compliance at a manufacturing site.
• Ability to coach a junior environmental specialist.
• Experience with air pollution control devices and monitoring programs.

You will support a diverse manufacturing site whose primary needs are air permitting and compliance. This company has a good reputation in industry and has a strong focus on reducing and controlling air emissions. They are active in research and development to improve their position in their markets. You will report directly to the Site Manager.

• Manage air permitting and air compliance issues for this site.
• Comply with federal, state and local regulations
• Provide coaching for a junior environmental specialist
• Support air pollution control devices
• Support water, and waste compliance activities
• Oversee environmental monitoring and manage inspections
• Drive continuous improvement of the program
• Knowledge of Louisiana Regulations and Title V is required.
