Job summary

University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority in Madison, WI is seeking a Senior Environmental Services Technician (Sr EVS Tech) for 100% FTE on 2nd shift, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm at East Madison Hospital.

You will lead and train staff, assign work, and ensure cleaning and disinfection standards across UW Health facilities to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. UW Health offers comprehensive benefits and flexible schedules to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of cleaning/housekeeping experience or lead capacity.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word preferred.

Senior Environmental Services Technician (Finance)

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, 2nd Shift. Hours are 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Week 1 days off are Sunday and Wednesday; Week 2 days off are Monday and Saturday. You will work at the East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Services Technician (Sr EVS Tech) to:

• Clean and disinfect UW Health facilities, using proper procedures, equipment, and cleaning chemicals to ensure a safe environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required

Work Experience

• 1 year of cleaning/housekeeping experience and/or relevant experience in a lead capacity Required
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• If position requires driving a company vehicle, the following requirements apply:
  • (1) Must be 21 years of age to drive a UW Health Fleet vehicle and must be 25 years of age to drive a UW Health vehicle rated for 15 or more passengers.
  • (2) Ability to be insured by Hospital's risk management insurer which requires a valid Wisconsin driver's license and successfully passing a driving background check.
