The primary purpose of the Environmental Services Worker position is to perform tasks to maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and attractive environment in the Rowan-Virtua SOM.
Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform duties. Prior experience in institutional environmental services preferred. Valid New Jersey driver’s license required.
The position requires physical activity including standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other physical tasks as described.
Exposure to wet or humid conditions, bloodborne pathogens, dust, fumes, chemicals, outdoor weather, mechanical parts, and noise. Use of Personal Protective Equipment is required.
Starting at $18.68/hour during probation, increasing to $19.29/hour after six months. Benefits include health, dental, retirement, paid holidays, and tuition reimbursement for employees and eligible dependents.
