Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation seeks a senior environmental and safety leader for its Greencastle facility. You will manage environmental/safety programs, ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, and lead safety training for all employees.

Responsibilities include overseeing permits, sustainability initiatives, and reporting. Ten years of manufacturing safety experience and a strong chemistry background are preferred, with excellent communication and leadership skills to guide

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Occupational Safety and Health or Environmental Management or equivalent.
• Ten years of manufacturing safety/environment experience with OSHA relevance.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with leadership experience.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental and safety for the Greencastle manufacturing facility.
• Oversee development and implementation of programs to comply with regulations and policies.
• Monitor regulations and manage safety training for all employees.
• Provide guidance on environmental, safety and industrial hygiene issues to plant leadership.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, legal and management on programs.
• Direct Greencastle's environmental sustainability and recycling programs.
• Oversee writing and renewal of environmental permits (Air, Wastewater, Stormwater).
• Oversee monthly and year-end environmental reports, OSHA logs, audits and lab analyses.
