Job summary

Paragon Professional Services seeks an Environmental Project Manager in Folsom, CA. This senior role requires at least ten years of experience managing environmental or engineering projects, including budgets and schedules.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and ensure compliance with federal contracting requirements. You will serve as primary liaison with government stakeholders, manage subcontractors, and deliver comprehensive progress reports while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a closely related scientific or engineering discipline.
• Ten years of experience managing environmental or engineering projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and client communications.
• Experience managing projects for federal agencies (e.g., USACE, DoD, EPA).
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating subcontractors.
• Knowledge of environmental investigation, remediation, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for Government PM, KO, COR, and client stakeholders.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects with planning, scheduling, staffing, and resources.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans.
• Coordinate technical staff, field personnel, and subcontractors.
• Manage subcontractor procurement and compliance with requirements.
• Oversee daily contract operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and scope adherence.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly progress reports on status, costs, and activities.
• Review and approve technical reports, work plans, and invoices for quality and compliance.
• Facilitate project meetings and mentor staff for professional development.
